Our Vision

The Lake Superior Interfaith Communication Network (LSICN) is a "defense shield" and protective web of prayer, dialog and heightened consciousness among the religious communities that share the approximately 200 watersheds that impact the Great Lake.

Both the United States and Canada have designated Lake Superior as a "demonstration site" for special efforts to promote good environmental practices that will improve the quality of life in the Great Lakes Basin for generations to come. Lake Superior is the headwaters of all the Great Lakes and constant vigilance is needed to prevent contamination, pollution and loss of water quality.
